Medium Painted Lead Eyes

Measuring 4.8 mm in diameter and weighing approximately 1/30 oz (0.94 grams), these medium-sized eyes feature a pre-painted finish with a contrasting pupil to provide a realistic baitfish look. Weight and Dimensions: 4.8 mm diameter and a weight of roughly 1/30 oz per eye.  Keel Effect: Tying them on top of the hook shank flips the hook upside down. This makes the fly ride hook-point-up to drastically reduce snagging on underwater structure.  Swim Action: The dumbbell shape creates an enticing jigging, up-and-down swimming action when stripped through the water.  Ideal Fly Patterns Clouser Deep Minnows: The quintessential pattern utilizing lead eyes for quick diving. Bass and Pike Streamers: Adds the heavy bulk needed to drop large profiles deep into cover. Saltwater Flats Flies: Used on heavy crab, shrimp, or bonefish patterns meant to stay anchored tightly to the bottom. Sculpin & Jig-Style Trout Streamers: Perfect for bouncing baitfish imitations off river bottoms.
