Solid Olive Wood Imported from Israel **Please note: No two olive wood pieces are identical, due to the nature of natural woods there are differences in wood color and grain. Your item may therefore not be exactly as pictured. To maintain the beauty of your natural olive wood kitchen utensils, follow these simple tips: Hand wash: Avoid using a dishwasher as the high heat and harsh detergents can damage the wood. Instead, gently wash your utensils by hand using mild dish soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly: After washing, ensure that the utensils are completely dry before storing them. Excess moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack over time. Oil regularly: Apply food-grade mineral oil or olive oil to the utensils periodically to keep the wood moisturized and prevent it from drying out. Simply rub a small amount of oil onto the surface with a soft cloth, let it sit for a few hours, and then wipe off any excess. Avoid prolonged soaking: Do not soak your olive wood utensils in water for extended periods. This can cause the wood to absorb too much moisture and lead to damage. Use gentle cleaning methods: For stubborn stains or residues, use a gentle scrub brush or sponge to clean the utensils. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads that can scratch or damage the wood. Store properly: Store your olive wood utensils in a dry and well-ventilated area. Avoid storing them in airtight containers or plastic bags, as this can trap moisture and lead to mold or mildew growth. Keep Away From Direct Heat Sources With proper care, they will continue to enhance your cooking experience for years to come.
