Loflin Medium Duty Skid Steer Root Grapple | Heavy-Duty Design

Overview Reliable Skid Steer Root Grapple for Everyday Clearing Jobs When you’re managing a farm, ranch, or construction site, cleanup and debris handling are constant challenges. The Loflin Fabrication Medium Duty Root Grapple gives you the perfect balance of power, precision, and affordability. Built for daily use, this skid steer root grapple is your go-to attachment for handling roots, logs, brush, and rocks—without hauling unnecessary soil. The design of this root grapple bucket makes it ideal for selective material handling. Its open-bottom frame lets dirt and fines fall through while holding onto what really matters—roots, logs, debris, or stones. You move only what you need, saving both time and effort. Each side of the grapple operates independently, allowing it to grip uneven or oddly shaped loads securely. This feature is especially valuable when dealing with brush piles, logs of varying sizes, or irregular debris. The 2” × 10” hydraulic cylinders with 1¼” pins provide impressive clamping force, ensuring you can grab, hold, and move heavy material with confidence. Durability and low maintenance are core to the Loflin design philosophy. The hydraulic cylinders are enclosed and hose-protected, shielding critical components from damage during work. Greasable pivot points and reinforced quick-attach mounts guarantee smooth operation and a long service life. The Medium Duty Root Grapple is built from heavy-gauge steel with roughly ⅜″ thick tines spaced 8½″ to 9″ apart—strong enough to handle rugged work, yet light enough for machines up to about 50 HP. Available in multiple widths (60″, 66″, 72″), it’s a versatile fit for most skid steers and compact loaders. Whether you’re clearing land after a storm, cleaning up a fenceline, or prepping a building site, this skid steer grapple attachment helps you do it faster, cleaner, and safer. For ranchers, farmers, and landowners, it’s the kind of tool that pays for itself quickly—turning hours of manual cleanup into minutes of efficient work. Built in the USA by Loflin Fabrication, a trusted name in heavy-duty attachments, this grapple combines craftsmanship, dependability, and smart engineering. If you want a tool that works as hard as you do, this is it. specifications Specification Details Product Name Medium Duty Root Grapple Type Skid Steer Root Grapple Attachment Width Options 60″ / 66″ / 72″ Tine Thickness ⅜″ Heavy-duty steel Tine Spacing 8½″ – 9″ Grapple Opening 34¼″ Hydraulic Cylinders 2″ × 10″ Covered Cylinders (1¼″ pins) Cylinder Protection Enclosed with steel guards Pivot Points Fully greasable Hydraulic Flow Range ~10 – 15 GPM (varies by skid steer model) Construction Reinforced steel, welded frame Mounting Universal Skid Steer Quick-Attach Recommended Machine Power Up to ~50 HP Manufacturer Loflin Fabrication (Made in USA)   features Independent grapple arms for uneven loads 2″ × 10″ hydraulic cylinders with steel guards Greasable pivot points for long-term reliability Open-bottom design for selective material handling Reinforced quick-attach mount for stability Durable ⅜″-thick tines with wide spacing Compatible with most skid steer loaders benefits ✔ Grips brush, roots, and logs securely ✔ Leaves dirt and soil behind ✔ Independent arms for better load control ✔ Protected hydraulics and hoses ✔ Works with most skid steers ✔ Saves time on land clearing additional information The Loflin Medium Duty Root Grapple is ideal for: Land clearing & storm cleanup — move branches, logs, and roots quickly.
