Medium Bell Jars

About the Piece This is a collection of Paiko's medium bell jars made of smooth clear glass with removable lids so that they may be filled with whatever coveted treasure or curiosity is desired.  A) 25" Total Hight, 4" Interior Diameter, 6.5" Base B) 27" Total Hight, 4" Interior Diameter, 6.5" Base Hand signed by the artist. About the Artist "Rather than a form emerging from a block of solid stone reductively, forms of glass are pushed into space organically by a cumulative history of layering and motion. My object-making process has developed to extend this layering, whereby many separate, individual glass parts are fused cold, away from the furnace to form a collage of sorts. This allows for a degree of detail and complexity difficult to achieve on the end of a blowpipe.' View the collection of Andy Paiko glass work available at Gold Bug
