Medieval Brussels wall tapestry Emperor Charles V Here is a magnificent version of the Medieval Brussels wall tapestry, one of the fine French tapestries from this long-established weaver. The original is in the Louvre, superbly reproduced here showing Emperor Charles V (1500 – 1558) surveying Brussels from his horse. The scene includes the ducal palace on the far left which burnt down in 1731. The weave of this tapestry results in fine detailing: this tapestry is woven – 60% acrylic, 30% viscose and 10% wool. This tapestry is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging. Do note that this tapestry is non-returnable. We feel that the main image above fails to convey the richness of this superb wall-hanging so we hope the below detail of the bottom left corner is helpful to you: Here is the Medieval Brussels wall tapestry in a pub:-
