Medicinal Herbs - Lemon Balm Organic

(Melissa officinalis) A member of the mint family, lemon balm is easy to grow and delightfully fragrant, emitting a sweet citrus scent whenever its leaves are touched. Use the fresh or dried leaves to brew a gentle, calming tea, steep into tinctures and oils, or toss into salads and cold drinks for a bright lemony lift. Bees love its small white flowers, making this a lovely addition to any pollinator garden. A vigorous, easy-care perennial, lemon balm thrives in average soil and part shade to full sun, and can be kept tidy with regular harvesting.  Note: Lemon balm spreads by underground runners and self-sows. Grow it in a container or pot to keep it in check and trim off flowers before they go to seed.
