Medicinal Herbs Collection

This five-packet herb collection brings together plants with very different growth habits, site preferences, aromas, and roles in a garden plan. It includes True Comfrey, Munstead Lavender, Stinging Nettles, Peppermint, and White Sage. Although the collection title reflects traditional naming and garden history, the seed is offered for cultivation rather than as medical advice or a promise of any health outcome. Treat each packet as its own crop: the species do not share one sowing temperature, germination schedule, moisture requirement, or mature size, so a single set of directions would be misleading. Collection Details True Comfrey: Deep-rooted perennial often placed near orchard areas or managed compost systems Munstead Lavender: Compact English-type lavender with aromatic foliage and purple flowers Stinging Nettles: Vigorous leafy plant sometimes grown at a managed garden edge or for compost inputs Peppermint: Aromatic, spreading mint that can be placed in a container when containment is desired White Sage: Silvery-leaved plant with flower spikes that prefers a sunny, comparatively dry site Format: Five separate seed packets, not a pre-blended seed mix Sowing & Growing Directions: Follow each packet’s species-specific sowing and pretreatment instructions Garden layout: Match each plant to its own light, soil, moisture, and space requirements Emergence: Expect germination timing to differ substantially among the five species Long-term placement: Plan carefully for perennial roots, mature spread, and reseeding Containers: Consider containment for spreading peppermint and any plant you want to manage closely Labels: Mark every sowing so seedlings and later care requirements remain identifiable Do not sow all five packets into one undifferentiated bed. A practical layout may place lavender and white sage in sunnier, drier positions while assigning comfrey a richer, more consistently moist but well-drained location. Peppermint can be separated from slower neighbors, and nettles should be located where accidental contact can be minimized. Start with small, labeled sowings and move established plants only when their permanent sites are ready. Handling note: Stinging nettle foliage can cause skin irritation on contact, so use suitable gloves and site it thoughtfully. Comfrey contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids that may be toxic. These seeds are sold for garden cultivation; consult current qualified guidance before considering any human or animal use. Keep each packet and label available for identification.
