MDX-48 | MODE Audio 4x8 FIR DSP, Speaker System Processor, Line Array Management with Display, Support Dante/AES

The MODE Audio MDX-48 is a professional-grade, rack-mountable DSP loudspeaker management processor, offering a 4-in 8-out configuration with a high-resolution 96kHz, 24-bit sampling rate. Designed for precise control and seamless integration with PA systems, this processor ensures exceptional sound quality, making it ideal for both live performances and fixed installations. At the heart of the MDX-48 is its advanced Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter, which provides a linear phase response, delivering superior filtering and noise reduction compared to traditional IIR filters. This results in clearer, more accurate sound, which is crucial for high-fidelity audio environments. Versatile connectivity options include 4 balanced XLR analog or AES digital inputs, 8 balanced XLR outputs, 4-channel Dante network audio I/O, an Ethernet port, RS-232 PC GUI control, and a USB (type B) connection, making the MDX-48 compatible with a wide range of professional setups. The MDX-48 is designed with ease of use in mind, featuring a backlit LCD display on the front panel for quick access to channel and function settings. Each input and output channel is equipped with LED arrays and dedicated Edit/Mute buttons for simplified operation. The accompanying Mconsole software for Windows provides complete PC control via USB, enhancing preset management and offering a clear visual interface for audio routing. With features like a 15-band PEQ for inputs, 10-band PEQ for outputs, dynamic EQ, delay, and comprehensive compressor/limiter options, the MDX-48 is a powerful solution for managing complex audio systems. It also supports up to 30 presets and multi-device control, making it an essential tool for professional sound engineers.
