LG Washer Door Seal (MDS47123602)

The LG Washer Door Seal is a vital component of your washing machine, designed to create a watertight seal between the door and the drum. This seal prevents water from leaking out during wash cycles, ensuring efficient and safe operation. It is made from durable rubber material, providing flexibility and resilience to withstand the rigors of regular use. Over time, the door seal may wear out due to constant exposure to water, detergent, and the mechanical action of the washer. Common causes of failure include mold buildup, tears, or cracks in the rubber, which can lead to leaks and reduced washing performance. If you are experiencing issues with your washer, consider the following symptoms to determine if the door seal needs replacement: Water leaking from the front of the washer during operation. Visible tears or cracks in the door seal. Mold or mildew buildup on the seal. Unpleasant odors emanating from the washer. Difficulty closing the washer door properly.
