McGrath P 4-String Active Bass Guitar - Coffee - 34" - Handmade

The New Standard Designed from the ground up through years of player feedback, workshop testing, and refined craftsmanship, the McGrath P is our definitive stripped-back active bass for the dedicated musician. Built to effortlessly handle long sets on lower Broadway, demanding studio sessions, and the rigor of constant touring, this instrument delivers pure reliability and standout tone night after night. We stripped it back to focus on what matters most, performance, total dependability, and complete control over your mix. At its core, a classic P-style split-coil pickup pairs with our proprietary McGrath Tilt EQ active preamp system. This setup provides a clean, low-impedance buffered signal alongside a single-knob active tilt control allowing you to seamlessly shift from a thick, warm low end to a punchy, articulate bite that cuts through any mix. If you believe a single split-coil is all you need, this model takes that timeless setup and elevates it with modern active buffering and serious tonal versatility. Streamlined Design: Uncomplicated single split-coil layout for instant, plug-and-play operation. Buffered Active Tilt EQ: Keeps your tone clear, powerful, and pristine over long cable runs or straight into a house DI. Built for the Stage & Studio: Engineered to handle back-to-back gigs, variable venue acoustics, and tight stage setups. Total Workhorse: Combines iconic split-coil feel with modern active precision and maximum reliability.
