McCormick Culinary Ground White Pepper, 5.0 lb

McCormick Culinary Ground White Pepper is an essential ingredient for adding a peppery bite to various dishes in professional kitchens. While white pepper does add some heat to recipes, it is not as spicy as black pepper, allowing chefs to use it to add flavor while meeting their guests' spice tolerance levels. Grown and ground exclusively for chefs, white pepper powder from McCormick Culinary will add a complex, earthy flavor to many dishes on your menu. To achieve this flavor profile, this blend relies on fully ripe, premium pepper berries that are soaked before the hulling and grinding process. This step brings out a distinct earthy aroma to the peppercorns. Each container of Ground White Pepper comes with 5 pounds of seasoning. Culinary professionals can save preparation time with this bulk white pepper that comes ready to use. Plus, scooping out as much seasoning as you need for back-of-house recipe customization is easier than ever with the container's large lid. Ground white pepper is a versatile spice and is a welcome addition to many dishes. You'll find that it's especially ideal for making all kinds of white sauces and gravies. Combine it with butter or bacon grease, flour and milk to create a simple white gravy to accompany various meals or place on top of biscuits. McCormick Culinary Ground White Pepper will add a bright, sharp explosion of flavor to dishes ranging from soups to seafood. Use white pepper to enhance dishes such as lime-white pepper scallops with a red bell pepper sauce drizzled on top and pork stir-fry. Your dishes will also see an aesthetic improvement when you add whole white pepper to your commercial kitchen's spice collection. Chefs can use them in white dishes, such as cod or potatoes, without altering the dish's natural white appearance. Since it's kosher and made without added MSG, this ground white pepper lets you cater to many customers' dietary preferences and needs.
