McCarty's Sacro-Ease® CoreBack Lumbar Support – MSE7

McCarty's Sacro-Ease® CoreBack Lumbar Support – MSE7 The MSE7 CoreBack is McCarty's streamlined, back-only lumbar support — built on the same sacral support principles as the full Sacro-Ease® system, but designed for users who need targeted lumbar and sacral support without a seat cushion. It attaches directly to your existing chair, restoring the natural lumbar curve and reducing chronic low back pain during extended sitting. Recommended by ergonomic specialists, physical therapists, and occupational health professionals, the MSE7 is ideal for users who already have a quality seat cushion or prefer a lighter, more portable back-only solution. Key Features Back-only sacral support design — no seat pad Adjustable steel frame fits a wide range of chair back heights and depths Firm, supportive foam maintains shape under sustained pressure Restores natural lumbar lordosis and reduces posterior pelvic tilt Compatible with most office chairs, car seats, and wheelchairs Lightweight and portable — easy to move between chairs Made in the USA by McCarty's Dimensions: 1Dx12Wx19T, 1/2" foam back with adjustable steel frame Specifications Part Number: MSE7 Style: Back support only (no seat cushion) Frame: Adjustable steel Country of Origin: USA Vendor: McCarty's Frequently Asked Questions What is the difference between the MSE7 CoreBack and the MSE8 Extra Heavy? The MSE8 is a combined back and seat cushion system designed for larger frames and higher weight capacities. The MSE7 CoreBack is a back-only support — lighter, more portable, and ideal for users who don’t need or already have a seat cushion. How does the MSE7 compare to the MSE3 (Sacro Deluxe)? The MSE3 Sacro Deluxe includes a coccyx cutout and is the flagship back-only model. The MSE7 CoreBack is a streamlined alternative with the same sacral support mechanism — a good option for users who want a simpler profile or slightly different fit. Is the MSE7 good for herniated disc or sciatica? Yes. The sacral support design of the MSE7 helps reduce compressive forces on lumbar discs and can relieve sciatic nerve pressure by restoring proper pelvic tilt. Many users with herniated discs (L4-L5, L5-S1) and sciatica report significant relief. We recommend consulting with our certified ergonomic specialists to confirm fit for your specific condition. Is this good for lower back pain or post-surgical recovery? The MSE7 is frequently recommended for chronic lower back pain and post-surgical recovery. Its firm sacral support prevents the pelvis from tilting posteriorly — a common cause of lumbar strain during prolonged sitting. Always consult your physician or physical therapist before use post-surgery. Can I use the MSE7 in my car? Yes. The adjustable steel frame is designed to fit most car seats, office chairs, and wheelchairs. It’s a popular choice for commuters and long-distance drivers who experience back pain. What chair types is the MSE7 compatible with? The MSE7 is compatible with most standard office chairs, executive chairs, car seats, and wheelchairs. The adjustable frame accommodates a range of seat depths and back heights. Do I need a seat cushion with the MSE7? No — the MSE7 is a back-only support and works independently of any seat cushion. If you also need seat support, consider the MSE8 which includes an integrated seat pad, or pair the MSE7 with a separate seat wedge. How do I know if the MSE7 is the right fit for me?
