Dual-Vision System for Broad Component Compatibility The MC410 combines two intelligent vision systems to deliver accurate, high-speed placement across an exceptionally wide range of SMD components—from ultra-miniature 01005s to large parts up to 100 x 150 mm. Smaller and fine-pitch components are aligned using a high-speed, head-mounted Cognex® on-the-fly vision system, while larger devices are processed with a base-mounted upward-looking camera for precise alignment and placement. This dual-camera approach helps optimize both speed and accuracy without compromising flexibility. A built-in virtual PCB simulator verifies placement data before production begins, helping minimize errors and speed up first-board validation. During operation, the software provides real-time visibility into production performance, including pick camera images, machine status, placement progress, and throughput. Operators can make adjustments directly from the production screen without interrupting workflow, helping maintain uptime and productivity.
