It's easy to get caught up in riding and not realize that your dog needs you to slow down, has a sore paw, or just needs to relieve themselves. Check in with your dog constantly while riding, and be sure you aren't pulling on their leash or pushing their comfort level. Some dogs take to the Runner immediately, others need some time to get used to it especially if they aren't already used to running alongside a bicycle.
