World Spice Mayan Cocoa

World Spice Mayan Cocoa: Spiced Drinking Chocolate Blend with True Cinnamon & Allspice World Spice Mayan Cocoa transforms quiet evenings into rich rituals with its authentic blend of deep roasted cocoa, mild chile, true cinnamon, and aromatic allspice. Formulated as an unsweetened base, this spiced drinking chocolate captures centuries-old Mesoamerican brewing traditions while delivering a modern bittersweet finish. Unlike conventional hot cocoa mixes loaded with filler sugars and artificial flavorings, every ingredient is carefully measured to let the natural warmth of the cacao shine through. The texture starts slightly grainy due to real spice particles, which is intentional. Simmering allows dairy or plant-based fats to fully extract the spice oils, creating a velvety brew that pairs exceptionally well with whole milk, heavy cream, or oat milk. Because the recipe leans bittersweet, it adapts easily to keto, paleo, or low-sugar diets once you incorporate your preferred sweetener. Why You’ll Love It Authentic flavor profile built around genuine cocoa, dried chile, and whole spices rather than artificial extracts Unsweetened foundation lets you control sweetness for dietary preferences or recipe customization Fat-soluble spice extraction creates a naturally thick, spoon-coating consistency without gums or stabilizers Compact packaging preserves essential oils so freshness stays consistent from first scoop to last How to Prepare Whisk 2 tablespoons of Mayan Cocoa into 1 cup of cold whole milk or high-fat plant milk Transfer to a small saucepan and heat gently over medium-low until steady steam rises Hold at just below boiling for exactly 3 minutes to bloom the spices Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into your favorite mug and stir in honey, maple syrup, or stevia to taste Who’s This For? Ritual drinkers who prefer complex, savory-sweet profiles over sugary convenience drinks Keto, paleo, and low-sugar cooks looking for a versatile spiced cocoa base Cocktail enthusiasts and bakers using cocoa blends to infuse hot buttered rum or dessert sauces FAQ Can I brew this mix directly with water? While physically possible, water won’t properly emulsify the cocoa butter and spice oils. Using whole milk or an unflavored high-fat alternative is necessary to achieve the intended creamy texture and allow the chile and cinnamon to fully integrate during the simmer step. Is this Mayan Cocoa pre-sweetened? No. The blend is deliberately crafted as a bittersweet concentrate. Adding your preferred sweetener after straining gives you complete control over the final balance of chocolate, heat, and spice. What grind size are the spices in this blend? The recipe contains recognizable whole spice pieces alongside finely ground cocoa. That is why straining after the 3-minute simmer is required to remove the larger particles before serving.
