Maximum Controls MXG-Omega Control Board

Omega I Replacement Controller for Maximum Controls Slide Operators The Maximum Controls Omega I Control Board, also known as the MXG-Omega, is the replacement main controller for compatible Maximum Controls MXG slide gate operators. It manages motor operation, virtual limit programming, monitored entrapment devices, battery backup behavior, access control inputs, loop detector signals, primary/secondary communication, and operator diagnostics from one centralized board. The Omega I uses a labeled dashboard with onboard programming buttons, status LEDs, an LCD display, and dedicated terminals for common gate accessories. Installers can program gate direction, open and close limits, partial-open position, close timer, ERD sensitivity, battery backup mode, solar operation, maglock delay, auxiliary relay behavior, and additional advanced functions directly at the operator. For troubleshooting, the onboard OBD USB port records configuration information, errors, operating conditions, and input/output events in non-volatile memory. Up to the most recent 8,000 events can be downloaded as a text file to a USB flash drive, allowing technicians to review gate status, voltage, temperature, current draw, cycle count, and event history without proprietary diagnostic software.
