Maximum Controls - MAX 1500 PRO Slide Gate Operator

Brushless DC Slide Gate Operator for High-Traffic Commercial Applications The Maximum Controls MAX 1500 PRO is a high-traffic commercial slide gate operator built around a 24V brushless DC motor and Advanced Matrix III controller, rated for gates up to 1,500 lbs and 50 ft at 12 inches per second. The brushless motor uses an integrated Hall Effect encoder to capture over 30 positional samples per inch of gate travel, giving the DSP controller the precision needed for ramp-up, ramp-down, and immediate stops without over-coasting. A Size 50, 30:1 cast iron direct drive gearbox with bronze gears, double-sealed heat-treated solid shafts, and a synthetic oil bath eliminates the chains, belts, and pulleys found in conventional drive systems. Motor life expectancy is rated at 6 million cycles, approximately 35,000 hours, backed by a 5-year warranty. The MAX 1500 PRO is UL 325/991 Class I, II, III, and IV compliant, meets the UL 2018 standard, and is ETL listed and CSA approved. Security and power continuity are built into the base unit. The Fail Secure designation is supported by Maximum Controls' patented Tamper Alert relay, which triggers on chain-drop or forced gate movement, and the Gate Disable feature, which blocks open commands from tampered keypads or triggered exit loops. The included AGM battery backup averages 200 cycles per charge across three selectable modes, a Solar Ready input with built-in solar regulator accommodates off-grid installations, and the power supply accepts switchable 115V or 230V AC without drawing on the battery during normal AC operation. Lightning protection covers all 44 input, output, and communication channels at up to 20,000V and 10,000A. An on-board OBD Black Box logs 8,000 events to non-volatile memory, downloadable via USB for field or factory diagnosis. Operating temperature range is -4°F to 165°F without a supplemental heater. Key Features Brushless 24V DC motor with integrated Hall Effect encoder captures over 30 positional samples per inch of gate travel, enabling DSP-controlled ramp-up, ramp-down, and immediate stops with no over-coasting. Rated at 6 million cycles and approximately 35,000 hours of life expectancy, backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Size 50, 30:1 cast iron direct drive gearbox with bronze gears, double-sealed heat-treated solid shafts, and a synthetic oil bath. No internal chains, belts, or pulleys. Fail Secure designation with patented Tamper Alert relay that activates on chain-drop or forced gate movement. Gate Disable feature blocks unauthorized gate commands through tampered keypads or triggered exit loops, activatable by key-switch or 7-day timer. Included AGM battery backup averages 200 cycles per charge (minimum 100), with three selectable backup modes. Solar Ready input with built-in solar regulator supports off-grid installations; remote low-voltage power up to 500 ft with no battery required. On-board OBD Black Box logs 8,000 events to non-volatile memory, downloadable via USB as a .TXT file for field diagnosis or factory review. Lightning protection rated up to 20,000V and 10,000A across all 44 input, output, and communication channels, including loop detector connections. Advanced Matrix III controller with LCD display, 16 selectable gate speeds, independent opening and closing speed controls for primary and secondary operators, and selectable short or long ramp-down profiles. Optional Max Cloud App enables cellular remote operation, virtual transmitter management for over 10,000 users, time-restricted access, guest pass issuance, auto open/close timers, and remote diagnostics retrieval.
