Mattie Pullover Pattern

Mattie Pullover Mattie is a top-down, seamless pullover with a burst of flowers around the yoke. The inspiration behind this sweater is my grandpa’s grandmother. It is a pullover version of my Mattie cardigan. My Mattie cardigan has a deep yoke. This version has a more traditional yoke depth, but still has plenty of flowers. With the shorter yoke depth I added short row, and the ribbing at the bottom as a split hem. I hope you love this version of Mattie and the story behind it. The flowers are a nod to my great-great grandmother who after a series of tragedies in her young life, she saw a field of sunflowers and felt that somehow everything was going to be alright. I hope this sweater gives you that strength as we all make our way through the difficult times and find the bright spots of life.
