Matrixx Liquid Chlorination System

Featuring an advanced proportional injection system and an oversized contact tank, the Matrixx Liquid Chlorination System is engineered to provide cost-effective disinfection for your whole house. Chlorination is one of many methods that can be used to disinfect water. This method was first used over a century ago and is still used today. Chlorine inactivates a microorganism by damaging its cell membrane. Once the cell membrane is weakened, the chlorine can enter the cell and disrupt cell respiration and DNA activity. The Matrixx Liquid Chlorination System is made using the highest quality professional-grade components, features our proprietary Smart Valve technology, and has an optional UV attachment to deal with pesky chlorine resistance microbials. Each unit comes backed by our industry-leading warranty, guaranteeing quality and peace of mind. Benefits Effective for all types of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and some protozoa Low capital and operating cost Easy to operate and maintain No impact on the aesthetic quality of the water (taste, odor, color) PROPORTIONAL INJECTION SYSTEM This mounts on the wall and therefore takes up no floor space. It is fully assembled and ready for installation. The water flows through the meter where the flow rate is determined and a signal is sent to the pump injection control. This assures that regardless of the flow from 1 to 20 GPM, the dosage is constant and proportional to the flow. The STENNER peristaltic pump, a positive displacement pump which never needs priming, injects a precise amount of Chlorine into the injection tee, which is controlled by a failsafe meter and electronic injection system that provides the precise amount of chlorine, no matter how high or how low the flow rate may be. Unlike other technologies, it works under low flow or high flow rates. Chlorine Contact Tank The chlorine contact tank is where the water comes into contact with the chlorine and mixes thoroughly. Roughly twenty minutes (20) of contact time is required for effective oxidation of iron, manganese, and bacteria. Backwashing Carbon Filter The Matrixx Backwashing Carbon Filter with electronic computer control removes any excess chlorine. It never needs to be reprogrammed and has a battery backup to keep the time for up to 24 hours in case of power outages.
