Matrix Audio SI-1 | Network Isolator

Matrix Audio SI-1 is an Isolation and Noise Reduction Device Designed for HiFi Network High Definition Audio and Video Equipment Features active optical-electrical isolation technology Dual-channel optical transmission architecture Crafted for Hi-Fi enthusiasts CNC unibody aluminum body Preserving Sonic Authenticity Matrix Audio SI-1 Audio Grade Network Isolator is a premium accessory meticulously crafted for Hi-Fi enthusiasts who pursue sonic purity. As a key extension of the Matrix Audio ecosystem, SI-1 not only carries forward the brand’s consistent commitment to precision engineering, but also unlocks new possibilities for cleaner signal paths in streaming audio systems. Working in synergy with other components, it elevates overall system performance, actively raising the ceiling of sound quality and reinforcing the very foundation of audio reproduction. Cleaner Sonic Foundation The SI-1 features active optical-electrical isolation technology, effectively blocking electromagnetic interference generated by routers and network switches. By purifying network noise that can interfere with audio signals, it also breaks ground loops and prevents current noise caused by grounding potential differences between devices. The result is a deeply “black” background, allowing music to emerge with greater clarity and purity. Precision in Every Detail A dual-channel optical transmission architecture enables independent sending and receiving paths, eliminating mutual interference at the source and preventing signal crosstalk. Two femtosecond clocks, combined with a linear power supply by a dual-winding toroidal transformer and multiple LDOs, ensure stable and clean power delivery. This design ensures data integrity, reduces transmission errors and jitter, improves timing accuracy, and allows musical details to be rendered with exceptional precision. Attentive Protection Equipped with dual 1Gbps RJ45 ports (one input and one isolated output), SI-1 adopts a physically separated layout. The output port incorporates an electrical isolation washer, reinforcing signal integrity while significantly reducing transmission errors and completely cutting off electrical continuity between devices. Whether facing lightning strikes, power surges, electrostatic discharge, or persistent noise from the power mains, SI-1 forms a robust protective barrier for high-value digital audio equipment such as network streamers, music players and DACs—ensuring peace of mind and uninterrupted listening enjoyment. Precision Matching SI-1 pays tribute to every Hi-Fi light-seeker with a heart of pure sincerity. Designed to complement Matrix Audio streamers, it resonates with the audiophile's quest for absolute purity. As the optical masterstroke in your system’s evolution, it ensures that every passion for superior sound is brilliantly realized.
