Matilda II (Australian service close support)

The Matilda II (Australian Service Close Support) was a British-made infantry tank used by Australia during World War II. It was equipped with a 3-inch howitzer in place of the standard 2-pounder, designed for close support roles, such as providing heavy firepower to infantry units. Known for its thick armor, the Matilda II was a reliable and formidable tank, though its relatively slow speed limited its versatility on the battlefield. It played a significant role in campaigns in the Pacific and North Africa. This is a fully assembled miniature model that requires no additional gluing or kit assembly.
