Material Studies Cube v.2

The Kalon Studios Material Studies Cube v.2 blends industrial precision with monolithic sophistication through its distinctive mirrored aluminum construction and richly pigmented stone top that creates the most compact and elemental variation in the series. This versatile cube features a precise, architectural form open on two adjoining sides that reads as monolithic and creates the illusion of a closed cube when rotated, establishing a powerful dialogue between reflection and density. The clean, composed silhouette adds deliberately commanding presence without overwhelming living spaces. Whether you're using it as sculptural seating where the compact form provides both function and artistic statement, positioning it as a side table where the stone surface offers practical display space with maximum visual impact, or nesting it beneath coffee tables where the monolithic presence complements larger pieces while maintaining its own identity, the Material Studies Cube v.2 delivers versatile functionality and timeless contemporary appeal. This modern cube is more than just beautiful. It combines mirrored aluminum frame with richly pigmented stone top available in Mineral Blue, Iron Red, or Mineral Gold that introduces density and saturated tone while creating the most concentrated spatial presence in the series. The mirrored structure reflects floor, wall, and adjacent objects while the compact configuration multiplies reflections and creates dynamic illusions of closure and openness when rotated. Features no toxins, no off-gassing, and EDC-free construction for healthy living environments, plus custom specifications available to meet individual design requirements. As a result, you can use it individually as a powerful accent piece or in series where the monolithic character interacts with other variations to create sophisticated spatial compositions. Kalon Studios, based in Los Angeles, designs with sustainability, craftsmanship, and ongoing material exploration at its core. The Material Studies Cube v.2 reflects the studio's commitment to investigating how material shapes form, space, and perception, translating their dialogue between reflection and density into the most concentrated and impactful scale. Founded with vision for pieces that demonstrate materially distinct presence with maximum architectural character, they create furniture that commands attention through restraint and precision. Through innovative mirrored aluminum construction and thoughtful stone integration, Kalon Studios helps you build spaces that feel both functionally powerful and beautifully considered with authentic American design excellence that celebrates the most elemental relationship between surface and void.
