Material Studies Cube v.1

The Kalon Studios Material Studies Cube v.1 blends industrial precision with elemental sophistication through its distinctive mirrored aluminum construction and richly pigmented stone top that creates a clean, open volume framing and reflecting its surroundings. This versatile cube features a precise, architectural form open on two sides that establishes a dialogue between reflection and density while extending and reframing interior spaces through mirrored surfaces. The clean, composed silhouette adds deliberate presence without overwhelming living areas. Whether you're using it as sculptural seating where the elemental volume provides both function and artistic statement, positioning it as a side table where the stone surface offers practical display space, or nesting it beneath coffee tables where the compact scale complements larger pieces, the Material Studies Cube v.1 delivers versatile functionality and timeless contemporary appeal. This modern cube is more than just beautiful. It combines mirrored aluminum frame with richly pigmented stone top available in Mineral Blue, Iron Red, or Mineral Gold that introduces density and saturated tone while creating spatial illusions through reflection. The mirrored structure reflects floor, wall, and adjacent objects while multiplying reflections and subtly altering perception of depth and mass when grouped with other variations. Features no toxins, no off-gassing, and EDC-free construction for healthy living environments, plus custom specifications available to meet individual design requirements. As a result, you can use it individually as accent furniture or in series where cubes interact to create dynamic spatial compositions that enhance contemporary interiors. Kalon Studios, based in Los Angeles, designs with sustainability, craftsmanship, and ongoing material exploration at its core. The Material Studies Cube v.1 reflects the studio's commitment to investigating how material shapes form, space, and perception, translating their dialogue between reflection and density into compact, versatile scale. Founded with vision for pieces that demonstrate materially distinct presence whether singular or grouped, they create furniture that holds its own architectural character. Through innovative mirrored aluminum construction and thoughtful stone integration, Kalon Studios helps you build spaces that feel both functionally flexible and beautifully considered with authentic American design excellence that celebrates the relationship between surface and void.
