This ingenious match strike blends form and function, designed to both store matches and provide a striking surface. Ceramicist Julia Finlayson's passion for this classic tool led her to collect vintage examples, inspiring this beautifully minimal yet richly textured piece.  Available in Stone Grey, Black, and Powder Grey. Each item is handmade and glazed in Evanston, IL with a unique shape and coloration. Approximately 2.75" x 3.5 " Compatible only with strike anywhere matches (not included) The hand-thrown ceramics from Grandmont Street are made by Julia Finlayson, who uses textural matte glazes over a dark clay stoneware base. Her designs are elegant, never fussy, streamlined yet warm.
