Field tested in the harshest conditions at the toughest races on the planet. TECH Unbelievably Lightweight Every gram counts, so every decision we made in the design and construction of the Matador AIR has resulted in a remarkably lightweight 25g pair of sunglasses, without compromising on optics, strength or durability. TR-90 Nylon Construction The Matador AIR’s TR-90 nylon frames won’t warp and are remarkably lightweight, flexible, durable and chemical resistant. INCREASED AIRFLOW Three strategically located vents in the lens improve ventilation and further reduce fogging on the hottest and most humid of days. C3™ 7-base Cylindrical Lens Our 7-base cylindrical lens boasts the sharpest optics on the planet with zero distortion in any head position. Whether you’re on someone’s wheel or choosing your line down a hair-raising descent, you can trust our C3™ optics for razor-sharp clarity. V-CORE™ Temple Our V-CORE™ temple seamlessly integrates with helmets and caps, reducing interference and ensuring retention and all-day comfort, and our signature titanium core wires in the temple tips bend to your precise fit. Secure-Lock Hinge Our secure lock hinge keeps your frames stable in both the open and closed-temple position. GEKO™ Grip Inspired by the soft but amazingly sticky feet of the gecko, our GEKO™ fit and retention system features a proprietary elastomer for nose and temple pads that’s hydrophilic, chemical resistant and supports multi-directional traction with comfort. No matter how sweaty you get or how rough the roads are, you’ll never have to worry about slippery frames sliding down your nose or falling off your face. Maximum Ventilation The semi-rimless design and elimination of excess material on the inside of the frame reduces weight and improves airflow at all speeds. Advanced Lens Coatings Each lens comes standard with premium anti-fog, anti-scratch, hydrophobic (water-resistant) and oleophobic (easy cleaning) coatings that are applied in an ultra clean manufacturing process to ensure quality and consistency. NosePad Fit System With 4 GEKO™ nose pad sizes included, the Matador AIR fits securely on every bridge width—with zero bounce or slip.
