GOLF: Mastering Golf's Mental Game -- Dr. Michael T. Lardon & Matthew Rudy

“Doc Lardon’s Mental Scorecard is a simple way to incorporate Mike’s best strategies into your game. It will help you create a system that allows you to organize and evaluate the way you think on the course and give you a game plan to improve. Give it a try. You’ll play with more confidence, which leads to better scores.” — Five-time major champion Phil Mickelson  “I think the average player is leaving at least four or five shots on the course every day, with the swing he or she has. Mike can help you find those shots. He’s going to help you train yourself to use your mind better.” — Former world No. 1 David Duval New York Yankee Hall of Fame catcher, Yogi Berra, once said that the great game of baseball was 90% percent mental and the other half was physical. Without question, he could (and should) have been talking about golf. Since the first written record about the sport of golf, the decree by the King of Scots, James II, to ban the sport in 1457 as he felt it provided an unwelcome distraction to learning archery, golf instruction has primarily focused on the technical and physical aspects of the game and the rules and etiquette associated with the sport. Equally as important, however, is the mental visualization needed to take your game to the next level.  In Mastering Golf's Mental Game, world-renowned peak performance expert Dr. Michael T. Lardon's primary goal is to teach you to not 'fear the ball'. Dr. Lardon shows you how to organize your thoughts and use them for maximum performance. His step-by-step Pre-Shot Pyramid provides any player with the ideal blueprint for shot setup. And his revolutionary Mental Scorecard will give you the tools to accurately measure what you really do on the golf course and how to make real, permanent improvements. Who better to understand what it means to maximize your full potential than 3-time Masters champion and 2012 World Golf Hall of Fame member, Phil Mickelson, who writes the forward to the book. Along with Mickelson, dozens of PGA tour pros have benefitted from Dr. Lardon's technique of teaching a sustainable transformation and the importance of control, optimization, concentration and having a mental plan. Mastering Golf’s Mental Game: Your Ultimate Guide to Better On-Course Performance and Lower Scores will change the way you think about golf not matter if you are a tour player, a 25-handicapper or anywhere in-between. It is a must-read for any player serious about shooting better scores and getting more enjoyment out of the game. BOOK DESCRIPTION Condition: Hardback new. Glued binding.
