When needed, wash and dry the foot by hand. Soak it in soapy water and rinse it under clear, running water. 2. Gently pull down the silicone tab of the suction foot to release water. Recommendations: For secure attachment between the suction foot and the countertop, the countertop surface must be smooth and non-porous. Both countertop and silicone disc of the suction foot should be clean of dust, crumbs, and oil. Moisture sometimes assists suction: wipe the surface and the bottom of the silicone disc with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, knives or other sharp utensils on any part of the Base. Do not attempt to open the Base. Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near hot surfaces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven). Each time before using or resuming use of the product, ensure the suction foot is still securely attached to the countertop. Quality Product Warranty This product has a Q symbol warranty.
