#65 master link (connecting link) for #65 roller chain. It has a removable side plate, so you can join or open the chain without a chain press. Sold individually. Use it to close a new drive chain on a slide gate operator or to rejoin chain after a repair. Most installs need one link at each chain bolt. A #65 link will not fit other chain sizes. #65 is a narrow 1/2 in pitch chain with a 1/8 in inner width. #65 chain is also sold as #48 chain. Both names refer to the same 1/2 in pitch chain with a 1/8 in inner width. A typical slide gate chain uses two master links, one at each chain bolt. Set the quantity to match.
