Massage Parlor Murders (UHD)

This listing is for the standard edition 4k UDH/Blu-ray Combo. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Robert Sammelin) was limited to 4,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover. A deranged maniac is stalking the sleazy massage parlors of Times Square, murdering helpless hookers in a variety of nasty ways. Grizzled Detective Rizotti and his younger, more romantic minded partner, Detective O’Mara, are on the case, but keep hitting dead ends and diversions, all while having to fend off the seductive charms of the very massage hostesses they’re trying to protect. Will they unmask this demented and bloodthirsty pervert before all the city’s prostitutes wind up in body bags? A fever dream of New York lensed 70s exploitation cinema, Chester Fox and Alex Stevens’ MASSAGE PARLOR MURDERS explodes on the screen with a non-stop orgy of murder, mayhem, gratuitous T&A, grimy Manhattan locales, bizarre plot twists, and even an out of left field and highly ambitious car chase! Featuring Sandra Peabody (THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT), Chris Jordan (A TOUCH OF GENIE), Anne Gaybis (WHAM BAM THANK YOU SPACEMAN), Arlana Blue (BLOODSUCKING FREAKS), Brother Theodore (DEVIL’S EXPRESS), and award winning character actor George Dzundza (THE DEER HUNTER) in one of his earliest on screen appearances, MASSAGE PARLOR MURDERS was never released on video and long believed lost until Vinegar Syndrome uncovered the original negative. At last this essential grindhouse epic makes the leap to 4K UHD, newly restored and looking so crisp you can almost smell the garbage! directed by: Chester Fox, Alex Stevens starring: Sandra Peabody, Chris Jordan, George Dzundza, George Spencer, Anne Gaybis, Arlana Blue 1973 / 81 min / 1.85:1 / English Mono Additional info: 4K Ultra HD / Region Free Blu-ray Set 4K UHD presented in High-Dynamic-Range Newly scanned & restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative Brand new commentary track with film historian and author Samm Deighan "Sin City" the locations of Massage Parlor Murders Massage Parlor Murders original theatrical trailer Massage Parlor Hookers original theatrical trailer TV spot Outtake reel Reversible sleeve artwork English SDH subtitles
