Mashalu Wood-Fired Teapot, 120ml

*One-of-a-kind wood-fired teapot, handmade in Taiwan and naturally colored by ash-fall firing. Unglazed functional art for tea lovers. ___ This is a hand-made wood-fired tea pot by Taiwanese master Mashalu, whose name means "Thank you" in her native aboriginal home language.  There is no glaze on this pot.  It’s 100% color, texture and shine by natural wood-firing.  Mashalu successively fires different wood species to give layers of color and texture in an extremely high-heat four-day "ash-fall" process.  It's not easy and takes the vigilance of four 24-hour days.   The color and texture don’t really come out in the pictures.  Please maximize to get a better idea - although pictures may show slight variation in the actual color.  Clay is tested and fired for more than 100 hours at 1200 deg. Celsius.  Please enjoy.  Capacity listed is approximate.  Mashalu’s teapots are all one-of-a-kind.  Because Mashalu’s tea pots are sold individually the reviews people leave are never seen, so I’d like to share with you some feedback.  Among many good things we hear, our customers say they are: Pleasing functional art, The usage is outstanding Pictures don’t do them justice.   Shipping: Only $5 domestic shipping for all the tea and tea wares you want  Returns: If you aren't happy at all with your teapot contact us at info@beautifultaiwantea.com.  We allow returns within 30 days packed the same way you received it for a full refund.  Shipping cost will be reimbursed within 7 days of receiving.  Please only use water to test it.  Take your time and see how it pours, how it fits in your hand, how you like it and how it makes you feel.  If you choose to brew tea in it, we will not be able to accept your return as this starts the seasoning process which someone else might not appreciate.
