Martin DSS BioSphere II w/case

Signed by C.F. Martin IV Dedicated to sustainability and preserving our planet for future generations, Martin Guitar is proud to reinforce that call to action this Earth Day with the all-new DSS Biosphere® II. The third model in our Earth Day series showcases another stunning work of art from acclaimed artist Robert Goetzl, taking us to the waters off the coast of Hawaii. This model is a tribute to the Keiki Kohola Project – Caring for Calves in Maui Waters, a nonprofit that promotes the protection of humpback whale mother and calf pairs during their time in Hawaiian waters. C. F. Martin & Co. has made a generous donation to its cause. The DSS Biosphere II is also FSC® certified, 100% plastic-free, and will be adorned with the Preferred by Nature Hummingbird Seal. It’s a satin sloped-shoulder Dreadnought that provides a warm and mellow tone rounded out by powerful mids, bright and airy trebles, and plenty of volume. All nature has its own song to sing. With the DSS Biosphere II, Martin hopes to raise awareness of protecting the environment, and the beautiful music it creates.  Specs: Body Size: Sloped Shoulder D-14 Fret Finish Top: Satin Construction: Simple Dovetail Neck Joint Back and Side Finish: Satin Bracing Pattern: X Brace Scale Length: 25.4" Brace Shape: Scalloped Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1 3/4'' Top Material: FSC® Certified Sitka Spruce Neck Shape: Modified Low Oval Back Material: Sapele Neck Taper: High Performance Taper Side Material: Sapele Electronics: No Top Top Color: Custom Ink Bridge Style: Modern Straightline - Drop in Saddle Binding: Certified European Flamed Maple Bridge String Spacing: 2 5/32" Top Inlay Material: Black Stripe Bridge Material: FSC® Certified Ebony Top Detail: FSC® Certified Wood Bridge Pin Material: Bone Pickguard: None Bridge Pin Dots: None Pickguard Inlay: None Saddle: Compensated Bone Rosette: None Saddle Radius: 16" Body Brace Material: Certified European Spruce Back and Sides Color: None Brace Size: 5/16" Back Detail: FSC® Certified Wood Back Purfling/Strip: None Back Inlay Material: None Heelcap: None Side Detail: FSC® Certified Wood Endpiece: None Side Inlay Material: None Endpiece Inlay: None Neck Neck Material: FSC® Certified Select Mahogany Fingerboard Material: FSC® Certified Ebony Finish Neck: Satin Fingerboard Width at 12th Fret: 2 1/8'' Neck Color: None Fingerboard Inlay Style: Dots Number of Frets Total: 20 Fingerboard Inlay Material: FSC® Certified Sapele Neck Joins Body At: 14th Fret Fingerboard Binding Material: None Side Dots: Aluminum Headstock Headstock Shape: Solid with Square Taper Tuning Machines: Nickel Open Gear Headplate Material: FSC® Certified Ebony Knob: Butterbean Headplate Logo Style: Script Authentic 1933 Overlay Nut Material: Bone Headplate Binding Material: None Misc Case: Softshell Label: Multiple Paper Labels Pleked: true
