The Martin D-18 acoustic is the original, legendary 14-fret dread that sparked so many artists and inspired so many other models through the decades. It gives you great volume, with a rich tone, full of clear highs and a nice, warm low end. Beautifully built with a solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides (both gloss finish, with aging toner on the top) for superior tone, this D-18 is a workhorse no matter what style(s) of music you play. The great modified low oval profile, satin-finished neck is really comfortable too and has a spacious 1 3/4" nutwidth and 2 5/32" string spacing. From the scalloped X bracing giving you beautiful resonance, right down to the vintage style butterbean tuners, this Martin D-18 guitar is a dynamic player built for several lifetimes of playing.
