Martin 5-28 Terz w/case

The Martin 5-28 Terz brings back one of the smallest and most distinctive body sizes in Martin’s lineup, designed for a unique tonal role rather than traditional accompaniment. Built as a 12-fret Size 5 instrument with a short 21.38" scale, it’s intended for Terz tuning—pitched a minor third higher than standard—producing a bright, bell-like voice that adds clarity and shimmer to layered arrangements. Despite its compact footprint, the 5-28 Terz delivers surprising depth and musicality, thanks to its solid spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Style 28 appointments give it a refined look and feel, while its versatility allows it to be tuned to standard pitch when needed, making it equally useful as a songwriting tool, studio texture instrument, or travel companion.
