Mart Stam Stool with Arms

The Mart Stam Stool with Arms is a timeless expression of Bauhaus design—where form follows function with uncompromising clarity. Originally conceived in the late 1920s, this iconic cantilevered stool exemplifies Mart Stam’s pioneering use of tubular steel, creating a silhouette that feels both architectural and effortlessly light. Defined by its clean lines and balanced proportions, the stool features a continuous steel tube frame paired with a minimalist seat, resulting in a piece that is visually striking yet highly practical. The cantilever construction provides subtle flexibility and comfort while maintaining a strong, sculptural presence. Equally at home in modern kitchens, studios, or commercial spaces, the Mart Stam Stool brings historical significance and modern versatility together in one refined design.
