Marshmallow Muff

With Marshmallow Muff, Marissa Zappas avoids heavy and sticky in favor of a lighter-than-air approach — marshmallow as delicate as chantilly lace and "graham cracker dust" more French sablé wafer than campground cookin'. Silky orris adds a touch of powder and warmth, in perfect harmony with tonka bean and smooth woods. A sheer delight, with a sophisticated drydown that nods to nostalgia. From Marissa Zappas A creamy-white confection skewered straight through the heart and roasted over the embers of a sandalwood flame. Don’t let the graham crackers fool you, this isn’t a treat… it’s dinner. Curling smoke from a freshly lit Capri drifts into musky clouds of orris, tonka, and ambrette, smudging the line between confection and carnal.
