Marlon Bolaños

Pineapple | Jasmine Marlon is producing some of the best coffee coming out of Huila right now, and his Bourbon Aji is no exception. He uses a unique clean processing method designed to bring out the natural characteristics of this variety, which is known for tropical sweetness and gentle floral notes. After sorting and depulping, the coffee is fermented in open tanks for 12 hours, which allows the coffee's natural complexity to come forward. Once fermentation is complete, the coffee is then washed and dried on sun beds for 10-15 days. A remarkably clean cup with hints of tropical fruit and bright acidity, you’ll also find some nice florals as it cools. Roast Profile: Very Light.
