Marketer Cucumber Seedling

This 1943 All-America Selection winner has stood the test of time for good reason. 'Marketer' is a vigorous, heat-resistant variety that offers dependable performance whether you are a market farmer or tending a backyard patch. The plants are robust and productive, offering excellent resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus while thriving in garden beds or large containers with trellis support. It is an ideal choice for gardeners of all experience levels looking for a crop that can handle the summer sun. The fruits themselves are the picture of a classic cucumber: slender, smooth, and dark green with white spines, typically growing eight to nine inches long. They are prized for their crisp texture and a mild, sweet flavor that never bites back. While 'Marketer' shines as a superior slicer for fresh salads and sandwiches, its uniform shape and crunch make it a versatile candidate for pickling as well.
