Marked to Create Devotional

Marked to Create is an eight-day devotional journey for artists, designers, writers, musicians, filmmakers, and anyone who senses they were created to see the world differently—and to make something meaningful with their hands and hearts. Written by professional illustrator and visual storyteller Joel Santana, this devotional explores the spiritual roots of creativity through Scripture, reflection, and thoughtfully crafted devotions that speak directly to the creative soul. Drawing from over two decades of experience in art, faith, and storytelling, Joel invites readers to slow down, listen, and rediscover creativity as a sacred calling—not a performance, not a comparison, and not a race. Inside you’ll discover: • Why your uniqueness is intentional, not random • How your creative voice is uncovered, not invented • The power of creating in community instead of isolation • How your worth is sealed by God’s signature, not your output • What it means to rest in the hands of the Master Artist • How to step into a new beginning with clarity, courage, and purpose Each day includes Scripture, devotional reading, reflection, and journaling space—designed to be both spiritually grounding and creatively inspiring. Though written as an eight-day journey, this devotional is meant to be taken at your own pace, allowing room to pray, sketch, write, and reflect. Whether you are a seasoned creative, a student, or someone rediscovering their artistic voice, Marked to Create is an invitation to see your imagination through God’s eyes—and to create from rest, identity, and calling rather than pressure or striving.
