Margie Dahlia

Margie produces stunning 6-inch pink blooms on vigorous 5-foot plants, making it an excellent choice for cutting gardens and landscape displays. This informal decorative variety offers reliable performance and abundant flowers throughout the season. The substantial bloom size and plant height create dramatic visual impact, while the classic pink coloring complements mixed plantings. Ideal for gardeners seeking a dependable, high-impact dahlia with commercial-grade flower production. How To Plant Dahlias To get your dahlias started, pick a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Dig a hole, lay the tuber flat, and cover it with soil about 3 inches deep. Hold off on watering for now. Once you spot some sprouts and a few leaves, it’s time to water, but keep it gentle to prevent root rot. It’s a smart  to put the stake next to the tuber at the same time of planting, so you don’t accidentally damage it later on. As the season goes on, give your dahlias some love with fertilizer and insect sprays to help them bloom beautifully and grow strong. In the fall, dig up the roots and store them over winter.
