Marching Band open edition print

In celebration of Mardi Gras parades, Carnival season, and New Orleans’ unique culture, this open edition print brings the three paintings from the Marching Band series together in one giclee print, available in two sizes. The musicians appear from right to left, in the order they proceed in marching formation. The intensity of the musicians is matched by the vibrancy of the colors. You can practically hear the music pouring out of their instruments as you dance along and explain to your friends how the bands are actually the best part of the parades. And for those unfortunate enough to not be in New Orleans for Carnival — I’ve been there, buddy — The Drummer, The Tuba Player, and The Trombonist will lessen the blow. Mardi Gras Day ain’t no ordinary Tuesday. Both sizing options are printed on archival-quality, acid-free, textured watercolor paper. Like all JVP Fine Art prints, they are reproductions from high-quality digital captures of the finished paintings, embodying the detailed brushwork and vibrant colors of the originals.
