Marantz MODEL 50 - Premium Integrated Stereo Amplifier

Marantz MODEL 50: Where Audiophile Dreams Take Flight Dive into a world of sonic splendor with the Marantz MODEL 50, an amplifier that dances to the rhythm of every true music enthusiast's heart. Marantz, an iconic name in the realm of audio, brings forth an amplifier that's not just a piece of equipment but a testament to their unwavering dedication to delivering unparalleled sound quality. Current Feedback Amplification: Elevating Musical Realism Marantz introduces its exclusive circuit technology - Current Feedback Amplification. This meticulously designed circuitry caters to the demands of high-resolution music, ensuring wide-bandwidth, high-speed reproduction that faithfully mirrors the essence of the original recording. By minimizing negative feedback and reducing the need for phase compensation, the signal path is streamlined, resulting in impeccable transient response and a transparent audio canvas across the entire frequency spectrum. Diverging from traditional voltage feedback topology, current feedback empowers the power amplifier to effortlessly conquer demanding loudspeaker loads, making the MODEL 50 the quintessential choice for a vast array of loudspeakers. Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAM): A Technological Sonata In an industry where many brands opt for readily available integrated op-amps, Marantz stands as a pioneer with its Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAM). The Marantz engineering team has meticulously crafted a groundbreaking replacement for integrated circuits, employing ultra-high-quality discrete components. This HDAM circuitry outshines traditional op-amps both in practical listening conditions and controlled laboratory settings. Its high-speed signal handling substantially enhances bandwidth, while ingenious amplification design curtails distortion and strategically positioned components silence unwanted noise. Embracing HDAM SA-3, the MODEL 50 reaches unprecedented heights of audio performance. Marantz Musical Phono EQ: A Love Song to Vinyl Marantz's commitment to vinyl is etched into the very DNA of the brand, showcased prominently by the Marantz Musical Phono EQ stage. This rendition of Marantz Musical Phono EQ adopts a two-stage amplification approach, allowing for reduced distortion through lowered gain per stage. The MODEL 50 ingeniously melds Marantz HDAM technology with JFETs in the input stage, achieving high input impedance that eradicates the need for AC coupling capacitors and simplifies the signal path. The result is a substantial enhancement of overall signal purity. High-Precision E-Vol Electronic Volume Control: Orchestrating Dynamics The MODEL 50 employs an ultra-precise electronic volume control system that finely tunes both circuit gain and output voltage. This approach ensures a high dynamic range while minimizing noise across a broader volume spectrum when compared to traditional systems. In contrast to basic potentiometers utilized in conventional integrated amplifiers, the electronic volume control system mitigates issues such as poor channel balance and the gradual onset of noise and distortion over time. Marantz SPKT 1+ Speaker Terminals: A Harmonious Connection Marantz recognizes the significance of a perfect bond between your amplifier and loudspeaker cables. Therefore, the MODEL 50 incorporates custom binding posts identified as Marantz SPKT 1+, ensuring impeccable connectivity while shielding against inadvertent short circuits. Discrete Headphone Amplifier: A Personal Symphony For those seeking an intimate and captivating listening experience, the MODEL 50 presents a discrete headphone amplifier. Crafted with fully discrete HDAM SA-2 circuitry, the output guarantees that your headphones faithfully recreate the warmth, spatial depth, and clarity akin to your loudspeakers. Whether you're embarking on a solitary musical journey or indulging in late-night listening sessions, the MODEL 50 elevates private listening to an unparalleled level of sonic ecstasy.
