Maple River Bench

The traditional Japanese method of sitting on the heels, called Seiza, promotes good posture of the spine and is associated with yoga and meditation. The River bench provides a comfortable seat in a kneeling position, alleviating knee and ankle discomfort so you can stay grounded for longer.  Place the removable legs in the outside slots for more stability, or use the inside slots to allow a wider, more open leg position. Try both to find what works best for you. Our design features a clever cutout on the legs and a locking system on the underside of the seat that form a convenient carry handle with no extra hardware or added thickness. Cut from solid white maple. Dimensions W: 24.0" D: 12.0" H: 10.0"
