The striking color contrast between the steel-blue foliage and rich burgundy spots gives this variety a powerful visual presence despite its relatively compact size. Hybrid from Agave (native to Mexico and southwestern U.S.) and Manfreda (native to North America), developed through modern cultivation in the United States. Flowers after approximately 2 years of maturity. Produces a tall spike with tubular blooms. Blooming is infrequent. The plant produces many offsets after flowering.
