Mangave ‘Night Owl’ PP (Manfreda x Agave hybrid)

The Mangave ‘Night Owl’ is a bold architectural plant with near-black leaves that make a dramatic statement in any setting. The dark coloration comes from heavy spotting inherited from its Manfreda parentage, while the wide, gently undulating leaves reveal marginal spines that add to its sculptural appeal. Like all Mangave, it combines the superior drought and heat tolerance of Agave with the faster growth and tropical character of Manfreda. Growing in full sun will bring out the deepest, richest color. Equally stunning as a solo container specimen or mixed with succulents and tropicals, ‘Night Owl’ thrives in hot, dry conditions. Hardy in southern zones as a perennial, it can be overwintered indoors in northern climates making it a versatile and low-maintenance choice for gardeners looking to add bold color and texture year-round. Available in a 4" pot.
