Mandragora -- Wrap Ring in Bronze or Silver / 7 Stone Choices

On the apothecary's shelf, or in the witch's garden, there are few plants as magical as the mandrake root. It's name is inspired by its shape which resembles the body of a little man, and indeed in manuscripts it is often depicted as a golden little fellow sleeping beneath the earth with a plant sprouting out of him like a crown: It was said that if it was torn unwillingly from the earth its scream could strike you dead or damn you to hell, but when properly harvested it had many uses: It has been used as an anesthetic and a hallucinogen, but it is most powerful when dried and preserved as a simple talisman, for it is believed that would bring good fortune and protect the body from all manners of harm. Inspired by the secret magic of nature, this lively little mandrake root is twisted in a protective spiral around your finger. Natural precious stones remind us the brilliant wonders born from the earth. This spiral ring can be adjusted to fit anywhere between US size 5 and 13.
