The Mandelic Cleansing Gel

GENTLE MANDELIC EXFOLIATION FOR CLEAR, BALANCED-LOOKING SKIN The Mandelic Cleansing Gel by Biba Los Angeles is a daily exfoliating cleanser designed to help maintain clearer, more balanced-looking skin without irritation or barrier disruption. Formulated with mandelic acid, a larger-molecule AHA, the formula exfoliates more gradually than many traditional acids, helping loosen buildup and refine the appearance of pores while remaining well tolerated by sensitive, reactive, or acne-prone skin. WHY THIS MANDELIC CLEANSER WORKS DIFFERENTLY Unlike aggressive exfoliating cleansers that can leave the skin tight, dehydrated, or reactive, The Mandelic Cleansing Gel was developed around controlled daily exfoliation. Mandelic acid penetrates more slowly and evenly than many stronger acids, making it more predictable and generally easier for the skin to tolerate while still supporting smoother texture and improved skin clarity over time. DAILY CLARITY WITHOUT OVER-CLEANSING In the treatment room, we do not rely on harsh cleansing to create results. Over-cleansing can contribute to dehydration, irritation, and rebound breakouts, especially in reactive or acne-prone skin. Instead, this formula supports a low-level, consistent renewal process that helps maintain clearer-looking skin while supporting overall skin balance and comfort. The result is skin that feels clean, smooth, and refreshed - never stripped or over-processed. DEVELOPED FROM REAL TREATMENT ROOM EXPERIENCE Developed from Biba de Sousa’s hands-on experience treating reactive, congestion-prone, and acne-prone skin, The Mandelic Cleansing Gel was created for skin that needs clarity but cannot tolerate aggressive exfoliation or excessive cleansing. It is often the cleanser used when the skin feels reactive, inconsistent, or difficult to balance.
