In her Manantial series, Carla Cascales Alimbau returns to the elemental. Using pure pigments mixed with water on raw linen, each painting unfolds as a collaboration between artist and material—guided not by control, but by intuition. The process is one of surrender, allowing color to bleed, pool, and settle in its own time. Mineral tones surface slowly, echoing the textures and fluidity of the natural world. Throughout her entire practice, nature is not only a subject but a method and philosophy.
