Mama Madonna

Mama Madonna by Marilyn Wells Clay sculpture, 7" high, 6.5" wide and 4.5" deep, glazed in black This hand-built clay sculpture by Marilyn Wells features a Neolithic-inspired Madonna figure holding a baby in her arms. Glazed in deep black, the piece carries a quiet, ancient presence — suggesting mother, child, protection, and the enduring mystery of the feminine form. The sculpture reflects my ongoing interest in early symbolic figures, sacred presence, and the timeless images that continue to speak across cultures and generations. Delivery / pickup arranged with artist. Local pickup or personal delivery may be available. If this sculpture needs to be shipped outside the Denver area, please contact me before purchase so we can confirm packing, handling, and shipping arrangements.
