The word Malibu comes from the Chumash, Himaliwu, which basically means “Whoa, a whole lotta waves here.” Since roughly the 1950s, Malibu has meant, in English, “Whoa, a whole lotta surfers here.” Handmade from 100%cotton duck cloth, the finest cotton threading and all the intrinsic imperfections that come with handmade heirlooms. Trimed with custom hand stained twill tape to give it the appearance on an old relic out of attic of your grandparent's seaside cottage. Stamped with the "WAXED Original" logo signage on each flag.
