Identification note: Exact Pick number and subtype depend on the governor’s signature/date, which is not clearly readable in the images. | Identified as Malaysia Bank Negara Malaysia 2 Ringgit, Second Series (introduced 1996) by the Tuanku Abdul Rahman portrait obverse, purple/lilac color, and reverse showing Kuala Lumpur Tower with communications satellite and regional map. The serial layout (black horizontal at left and red vertical at right) matches the second series. This securely places the note in the SCWPM second-series 2 Ringgit type. What remains unverified for an exact Pick number/suffix is the governor’s signature (determines subtype), potential replacement/prefix variety, and other fine attributes not legible in the provided images.
